2023 Hyundai i20 launched: Variant-wise price, design, features

Hyundai has launched the facelifted i20 at a starting price of Rs 6.99 lakh, ex-showroom. The 2023 iteration of the hatchback comes with a host of cosmetic updates, safety feature additions, and rejigged engine options.
Speaking of the design, the premium hatchback gets a revised parametric grille, sleek LED headlamps with LED DRLs, revamped bumpers on both ends, and a 3D logo on the bonnet. The new Hyundai i20 sits on 16-inch alloy wheels.
Under the hood, the new Hyundai i20 is powered by the 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine mated to either an MT or CVT automatic. This motor belts out 83.13 hp and 115 Nm of torque. It is interesting to note that the company has discontinued the turbo-petrol engine offered with the outgoing model.

Inside the cabin, this car gets dual-tone grey and black interiors, ambient lighting, touchscreen infotainment system, semi-leatherette seats, leatherette door armrests, leather-wrapped D-Cut Steering wheel, C-Type charger, and over 60 connected car featuring voice command in multiple languages.
In terms of safety, the manufacturer says that the hatchback will boast of 40 safety features such as automatic headlamps, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Assist Control (HAC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), 3-Point seatbelts, and seat belt reminders for all seats. Additionally, it’s equipped with six airbags, which is commendable for a car in this segment.
This car can be had with an option to choose from an array of colours, including the new Amazon Grey, Atlas White, Titan Gray, Typhoon Silver, Starry Night, Fiery Red, Atlas White + Black Roof, and Fiery Red + Black Roof.
