It should be noted that the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 is already available in foreign markets, however, the test mule appears to be a new-gen version of the motorcycle, featuring a host of changes. At the front, the motorcycle gets a round LED headlamp and LED turn signals. The seat appears to be bigger than before, while a conventional rear grab rail is also seen.

The rear section looks completely new, with the separate tyre hugger seen on the current Svartpilen 401 making way for a new seat-integrated tail tidy. What’s more, the motorcycle now gets an underbelly exhaust, while the saree guard on the other side of the bike suggests that it is the production-ready version of the India-spec 2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 401. The bike gets upside-down forks at the front, along with an offset rear monoshock.
All of the body panels are covered in camouflage on the latest test mule. That said, we expect Husqvarna to introduce both the Vitpilen 401 and Svartpilen 401 in India around the same time. The 401 twins will likely make use of the same 398.77 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that was debuted with the new-gen KTM 390 Duke, also set to be launched in India soon.
