25 two-wheelers fully burnt after service center fire in Pune!

Around 25 motorcycles and scooters were charred after a fire broke out at a two-wheeler service station in the city of Pune, Maharashtra earlier this morning. While the reason for the blaze is yet unknown, it was doused of timely by the Fire Department. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.

From the video of the fire incident that is available with us, the service center appears to be a TVS Motor Company service station located in Sinhgad Road, however, other details aren’t available yet. The video shows multiple bikes and scooters completely reduced to ashes, while a range of other two-wheelers, that seemed to have survived the fire, have burnt seats, damaged instrument clusters and melted plastic parts.

As per an official from the Fire Department, the fire control room received a call at 7:45 am about the fire at the service station. “After receiving the call, five water tenders were dispatched to the spot and the blaze was brought under control in some time. Around 20 to 25 two-wheelers, which were brought for servicing purpose, were completely gutted in the fire,” the official said. As per the official, the cause of the blaze is yet unknown. Details will be available after an investigation.
A similar incident took place at a Mahindra & Mahindra service center located in Mayapuri area of Delhi a few months ago, resulting in about 20 cars being gutted in the fire. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in that particular incident either.
