49ers’ Nick Bosa crashes Brock Purdy interview with MAGA hat

Nick Bosa is a man of few words in press conferences, but he went out of his way to make a statement when he crashed a live interview after the 49ers’ win Sunday night over the Cowboys.

Bosa walked up behind Brock Purdy, who was being asked a question by ‘Sunday Night Football’ reporter Melissa Stark, adjusted his white “Make America Great Again” cap, pointed to its message, then jogged out of the frame.

Tight end George Kittle and running back Isaac Guerendo were also standing by to field questions from Stark.

Bosa has not been particularly shy about his support for former president Donald Trump, who is up for election Nov. 6. to return to the White House. He stands out in the Bay Area, which is home to Democratic presidential candidate and current Vice President Kamala Harris.

The 27-year-old former NFL defensive player of the year posed for a photo with Trump in the offseason at a UFC fight in Miami, near his hometown of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. During his time in college at Ohio State, Bosa tweeted in support of Trump, but he said before the draft that he stopped posting about the then-president and deleted some posts because he might be drafted to San Francisco.
