Revolution Beauty continues to bounce back from its woes of 2022 and early 2023 and has been reshaping its management team as part of this. The latest announcement is that it has named Erin Cast as President of its North America operations.
The company said the appointment supports the multi-channel mass beauty firm’s growing presence there and “underlines the significance of North America to Revolution Beauty’s growth ambitions”.
Based in New York, Cast will “build upon the group’s strong foundations within the large and attractive markets of the US and Canada”.
She brings over 25 years of experience to her new job across sales, marketing, general management and board roles in beauty, food & beverage, and omnichannel retail.
Her most recent role was as General Manager at pet food specialist Royal Canin (part of food giant Mars). While there, she “showcased her leadership credentials as part of a large multinational business, overseeing sales growth of over 25% across Specialty Retail and Omnichannel”.
Before that she was CMO, Global Consumer Beauty at Coty, “successfully leading the turnaround of Cover Girl and accelerating growth for Sally Hansen”.
And she also spent a decade at L’Oréal Consumer Beauty, based in New York, with a focus on cosmetics and skincare.
Revolution’s CEO Lauren Brindley highlighted that North America is a “priority market” for the British firm and while it has established partnerships with “many of the leading beauty retailers”, it’s still “a new brand with major headroom for expansion” in America. “Erin’s deep US and global beauty experience across sales, marketing, and general management roles, makes her the ideal leader to revolutionise growth in the region,” she added.
