L:A Bruket has a new leader. Previously with the American group Estée Lauder, Jean-Christophe Jourde has just taken up the position of CEO of the Swedish beauty brand, succeeding Stanislas Le Bert, who has headed L:A Bruket since 2019.
Before joining the Swedish brand, Jean-Christophe Jourde worked for Estée Lauder for almost 15 years. He joined the American cosmetics group in 2004, where he initially held the position of managing director Germany for the Estée Lauder, Aramis and Tom Ford brands. From 2015 to 2020, Jean-Christophe Jourde was also president of Estée Lauder France, North Africa and the Oceania region. Since 2020, he has been managing director Europe, Middle East and Africa for the Clinique brand, also heading up the eco-responsibility and corporate citizenship activities of the Estée Lauder group. Jean-Christophe Jourde began his career at L’Oréal in 1998.
Experienced Capital Partners has held a majority stake in the company, founded in 2008 by Swedish entrepreneurs Monica Kylén and Mats Johansson, since 2019. The premium brand offers natural and organic skincare products designed on the west coast of Sweden, including face, body, hair and home products.
L:A Bruket is present in France via two boutiques in Paris and a 25-square-metre corner at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann. L:A Bruket also has three shops in Sweden and one in Germany. In recent years, under the impetus of Stanislas Le Bert, the label has also expanded in Asia, where it now has around ten shops, notably in South Korea.
L :A Bruket, which is not disclosing its sales figures, is presented as one of the fast-growing brands of Experienced Capital Partners, which has stakes in the beauty brand Oh My Cream !, the fashion brand Sessùn and Le Slip Français.
