Out since Dec. 7 with a high ankle sprain, Woll was a full participant in practice for the first time since suffering the injury.

“It looks like he got through it well,” Leafs coach Sheldon Keefe said. “It was an important step (and) a good step.”
There’s no date set in stone for Woll’s first game back.
Also on the ice were centre David Kampf, who has not played since Jan. 27 because of an undisclosed injury, and defenceman Mark Giordano, who did not play in Ottawa on Saturday with a lower-body injury. Whether they get the green light to play against St. Louis on Tuesday remained to be seen, but there was optimism that both will be good to go.
Not so for defenceman Conor Timmins, who had an appointment on Monday for an illness he has been dealing with. He won’t be available against the Blues, who have won their past five road games. Keefe said there would be an update on Timmins’ status on Tuesday.
Max Lajoie, meanwhile, skated on a fourth defence pair with the soon-to-be-suspended Morgan Rielly, indicating he will not be in the lineup.
