JEE Main 2024 Result has been declared for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.); meanwhile, the NTA Scores for Paper 2A (B.Arch.) and 2B (B.Planning) for the JEE (Main) – 2024 Session 1 will be announced in the next few days. Once declared, candidates can download the JEE Main 2024 Scores at jeemain.nta.ac.in and nta.ac.in. NTA Scores are normalized scores across multi-session papers and are based on the relative performance of all those who appeared for the examination in one session. The marks obtained are converted into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of examinees.
The NTA Score of a Candidate has been calculated as follows:-
100 X Number of candidates appeared in the ‘Session’ with raw score EQUAL TO OR LESS than the candidate/Total number of candidates who appeared in the ‘Session’
Students must note that the NTA score is not the same as the percentage of marks obtained. The candidate’s particulars including Category and Person with Disability (PwD) have been indicated as mentioned by the candidate in the online Application Form. After both Sessions of the JEE (Main) – 2024 Examination for Paper 1, the ranks of the candidates will be released taking into consideration the best of the two NTA Scores in accordance with the policy already made.

JEE Main 2024 Final Answer Key Awaited
This year, JEE Mains 2024 Paper 2A (B. Arch), Paper 2B (B. Planning) and Paper 2A & 2B (B. Arch & B. Planning both) was held on January 24, 2024. JEE (Main) – 2024 Session 1 Provisional Answer Key was released on February 6, 2024. Candidates were allowed to raise objections, if any, against the JEE Main 2024 Answer Key between February 6 to February 9, 2024. As of now, NTA has not released the JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Paper 2 Final Answer Key.

JEE Main 2024 Result: Compilation of NTA Score for Session 2 of Paper 2A (B. Arch) or Paper 2B (B. Planning)
Similarly, Session 2 of JEE (Main) – 2024 Paper 2A (B. Arch) or Paper 2B (B. Planning) will be conducted in multishifts, and NTA scores will be calculated corresponding to the raw (actual) marks obtained by a candidate. The calculated NTA scores for all the shifts will comprise the NTA scores for each of the three parts (Mathematics, Aptitude Test, and Drawing Test or Planning Based Test) and the total in Paper 2A (B. Arch) or Paper 2B (B. Planning) of Session 2 of JEE (Main) – 2024.
JEE Main 2024 Result: Compilation and display of results including overall Merit List/ Ranking of Paper 2A (B. Arch) or Paper 2B (B. Planning):
The NTA scores for each of the candidates in Total in Paper 2A (B. Arch) or Paper 2B (B. Planning) for Session 1 as well as for Session 2 of JEE (Main)-2024 will be merged for compilation of results and preparation of overall Merit List/Ranking. The best of the two NTA Scores (Total) will be considered for further processing for those candidates who appeared in both sessions.
In case of a tie, i.e. when two or more candidates obtain equal Total NTA Score in JEE(Main)- 2024, inter-se merit of such candidates shall be determined as per “Method of resolving ties” given in Chapter- 3 for Paper-2A (B. Arch) or Paper-2B (B. Planning). [3.4 (5) Part 2]. The NTA scores and rank of Paper-2A (B. Arch) or Paper-2B (B. Planning) of JEE (Main) – 2024 for all candidates who appeared in Session 1 as well as in Session 2 for JEE (Main) – 2024 will be declared on the NTA website(s). This shall comprise the NTA scores obtained by the candidate in Session 1, NTA scores obtained in Session 2, and NTA scores for those who appeared in both sessions (best of the two Total NTA scores). The rank shall comprise the All India rank and All India category rank.
