Fans have noticed a sad detail following the news of Robert Irwin and Rorie Buckey’s breakup.
The pair announced they were ending their relationship after dating for over a year in a statement on social media.
Buckey, 19, and Irwin, 20, shared a joint statement on Instagram saying they had decided to go their “separate ways”.

“We wanted to share that we have decided to go our separate ways but profoundly appreciate all of the time spent together and wish one another all the very best into the future,” the pair said.
“We wish to express the gratitude and respect we have for one another as we continue our journeys on different paths.
“We won’t be commenting further on this and really appreciate your respect and privacy at this time.”
But following the announcement, fans have pointed out that Buckey has been “wiped” from Irwin’s social media.
Buckey has since set her account to private, and has removed ‘Wildlife Warrior’ from her bio.
She had added it to her bio in December last year after announcing that she was joining Australia Zoo.
“I am honoured to be part of groundbreaking research on crocodiles in remote North Queensland,” she wrote at the time.
It is unclear if Buckey will continue her work with Australia Zoo following the couple’s split.
Irwin first met Buckey — the niece of late Australian actor Heath Ledger — sometime in 2022, but the couple did not publicly debut their relationship until July 2023.
It’s not entirely clear how Buckey, whose family is based in Perth, first met Irwin, who is based in Queensland with his family.
The couple often shared pictures of each other on social media, with Buckey also starring in some of Irwin’s viral TikToks.
