On 4th April, The BSE Sensex fell 27.09 points or 0.04 per cent to settle at 73,876.82. The index made an intraday low and high of 73,540.27 and 74,151.21, respectively.
On 4th April, The NSE Nifty went down by 18.65 points or 0.08 per cent to settle at 22,434.65. It made a low of 22,346.50 and a high of 22,521.10.

- Bandhan Bank Stock: The bank announced its Q4 results with an increase in total deposits by 25.1 per cent year-on-year (YoY).
- HDFC Bank Stock: Announced its Q4 results, wherein its gross advances at the end of the March quarter rose 1.6% to 25.08 trillion rupees ($300.44 billion) from the December quarter.
- Bajaj Finance Stock: The company announced its Q4 business results for the FY ending 2024, with deposits and AUM a growth of 35 per cent and 34 per cent, respectively.
- IndusInd Bank Stock: The saw good growth in the last quarter of FY24, advances at the private lender also logged an 18 per cent increase, while deposits grew by 14 per cent during the same period.
- Aavas Financiers Stock: In its Q4 business results with disbursement logging a reported healthy 20 per cent growth. However, Smallcap World Fund sold 10.06 lakh (1.27%) shares at an average price of Rs 1420.19 per share.
- Nestle India Stock: National Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission (NCDRC) dismissed a complaint filed in the year 2015 in favour of the company. The complaint was filed by the Union of India, Department of Consumer Affairs, on the allegations that by selling Maggi noodles in the past, the company had indulged in unfair trade practices.
- UltraTech Cement Stock: The company commissioned a 100 MW AC solar energy project in Rajasthan.
- Hero MotoCorp Stock: The company received a tax demand notice amounting to Rs 308.65 crore and interest thereon of Rs 296.22 crore.

However, sales during the quarter declined from 1.48 million sq ft to 1.34 million sq ft.
- Kalyan Jewelers Stock: The company announced its Q4 results wherein its consolidated income grew by 34 per cent and business in India saw 38 per cent growth in income. Further, the company during the quarter opened 10 new showrooms.
