In the song, Anushka Sharma graced the screen as a stunning bride, wearing a super heavy lehenga designed by ace designer Manish Malhotra.
This exquisite creation weighed around 17 Kg, making it a true masterpiece. However, Anushka’s experience wearing this heavy outfit was quite challenging. She shared that the lehenga itself weighed 17 kg, and when combined with the jewellery, she was carrying a total of about 20 kg.
While sharing the video, Anushka spoke about how beautiful she looked but didn’t feel beautiful at all. “I was wearing such heavy clothes that everyone felt sorry for me. 17 kg was the lehenga and then there was the jewellery. So all in all I carried about 20 kgs. I had to walk up and down the stairs in the lehenga. It was very difficult. I had to walk on my toes and my calves were getting worked out.”

Despite the discomfort, Anushka Sharma looked ethereal in the bridal attire, and her portrayal left a lasting impression on many. However, in the video, she didn’t tag or mention Manish Malhotra. In the response, the designer left a sarcastic comment, “You looked beautiful and made a stunning bride my dear. And thanks for not even tagging me or mentioning my name considering the passion love and hard work we put into the outfit.” Although Manish later deleted the comment, but netizens were quick to grab screenshots of it.
