The NHL is now officially in Utah as the new ownership group has taken control of the former Arizona Coyotes.
With all that official, the club also unveiled its logo, color scheme and uniforms for the 2024-25 season, which will be played as the Utah Hockey Club.

It all might seem a little bland, but keep in mind it is a temporary fix, and all of this came together literally within the past couple of months. They had to have something to get ready for this season, and this is the temporary look.
The team is still in the process of searching for a permanent name and is going to choose among six finalists that includes Utah Hockey Club, Yeti, Blizzard, Venom, Outlaws and Mammoth.
The franchise relocated to Utah after years of ongoing ownership and arena issues in Arizona, with the franchise unable to secure land or a new deal for a new building. They spent the past two seasons playing in a 5,000-seat college hockey rink that was shared with Arizona State University.
The club will begin play in Utah this season and could be a surprisingly active team in the offseason given the fact it now has a real ownership group, money to spend, significant salary-cap space and several trade assets in the form of draft picks.
