The 13-time Grammy winner, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, can be heard introducing Polansky as “my fiancé” while watching the swimming events.
The couple were first linked when they were spotted kissing at a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas in 2020.
After the footage went viral online, Gaga confirmed the news, sharing PDA-filled photos from a weekend away together in Miami to celebrate the Super Bowl in February that year.
“We had so much fun in Miami,” she captioned the post.
In November 2021 a source told People Gaga and Polansky did not “seem rushed to get engaged” but were acting “like a married couple”.
Gaga was previously engaged to Christian Carino, but the couple split in early 2019 after a two-year relationship.
Previously the singer was engaged to Chicago Fire actor Taylor Kinney in 2015, however broke off the relationship the following year.
The confirmation from Gaga comes months after she slammed a pregnancy rumour circulating after attending her sister Natali Germanotta’s wedding.
After viewing pictures emerging from the event, some people thought Gaga was sporting a “baby bump”.
The Grammy Award winner took to social media afterwards to set the record straight after online chatter about a possible pregnancy.
“Not pregnant — just down bad cryin’ at the gym,” Gaga wrote, referring to Down Bad, a song from the new Taylor Swift album The Tortured Poets Department.
In the video, which shows Gaga in the middle of getting her makeup on, she sports a nude wig cap, heavy black eyeliner and a black top.
She lip synchs along to a voiceover which says, “I don’t have to find an aesthetic, I am an aesthetic. I mean, I’m sure there’s somebody out here right now who is going into Pinterest trying to type up all these adjectives to describe me.”
She also encouraged her American fans to register to vote for the upcoming US election.
The engagement news comes off the back of Gaga’s performance at the Opening Ceremony of the Paris Olympics on Friday.
The US singer paid homage to the host country, performing Mon Truc En Plumes, originally sung by French ballet dancer and musician Zizi Jeanmaire in the 1960s.
It was originally suspected that Lady Gaga and Céline Dion would sing a duet of La Vie en Rose, however both performed solo.
