Fabrice Raoul appointed CEO of the French subsidiary

Chanel is making some changes at the head of its company in France. Bruno Pavlovsky, President of the Fashion and Fine Crafts division as well as Chanel SAS, the group’s subsidiary in France, will now work hand in hand with the new CEO Fabrice Raoul, who was previously CFO of the beauty division. He succeeds Luc Dony, CFO Europe and CEO of Chanel SAS, who retired in March.

 
“Fabrice Raoul has been appointed CFO Europe and CFO of the Corporate Finance teams in France, succeeding Luc Dony. Fabrice has also been appointed chief executive officer of Chanel SAS,” says a spokesperson for the group, confirming the information published by the glitz.paris website. He added that the manager will report “to Bruno Pavlovsky in his capacity as Chairman of Chanel SAS.”
 
Fabrice Raoul began his career in financial control working for multinationals in industry before moving to Bourjois, where he became CFO. At the time, the cosmetics brand was part of Chanel, before the luxury group sold it to Coty in 2014. In 2012, he joined Chanel’s Perfumes and Beauty division, becoming CFO two years later.
 
The label, which recently parted ways with its creative director Virginie Viard, is continuing its reorganisation under the aegis of CEO Leena Nair, who will be appointed head of the group in 2022. At the end of 2023, the luxury fashion house transferred Joyce Green, its fashion manager in the United States at the time, to the French market as managing director for Chanel France, i.e. as executive director for the French market.
