How Much Did You Lose in How Many Days?

I have lost 19.6 kilos with 8.2% fat loss in 362 days.

What Was Your Weight Loss Diet And Routine?

My diet consisted of healthy, nutritious foods typical in a normal Indian household. I supplemented my diet with lemon honey water and warm water throughout the day. I included a variety of fruits and vegetables and practised portion control.

Breakfast

– Poha or dalia or small portion of corn, or oil-less paratha or tofu & moong paratha

– A combo of seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, watermelon, flax, black raisins)

– Fresh fruits like apples and bananas

-Sugarless Tea

Lunch

– Whole grains like wheat, rice, maize, ragi, jowar chapati  or small bowl of rice

– Daal (lentils), green and seasonal vegetables, no potatoes

– Salad

Dinner 

– Light meals, often similar to lunch but in smaller portions

– Fresh salad with tomatoes, garlic, and mushrooms

– Early dinner followed by a disciplined sleep schedule

Snacks

– A handful of seeds combo or black raisins

– Roasted gram with occasionally jaggery for a sweet touch

– Sugarless or Green Tea

Did You Completely Cut Down on Sugar?

Yes, I did completely cut out direct consumption of sugar from my diet, which also included foods high in sugar.

Did You Have Cheat Meals?

I didn’t have full cheat meals, but I allowed myself a morsel here and there occasionally.

What is One Rule That You Abide by For Losing Weight?

You can only improve what you measure. Consistent monitoring of my progress is key.

What Was One Thing That Worked Best For You?

Self-motivation and occasional encouragement from others kept me going.

One Challenge That You Faced And How Did You Overcome it?

Starting the journey was challenging. I overcame it through positive self-enforcement and setting small, achievable goals.

Is There a Weight Loss Myth That You Got to Know About During Your Journey?

Fruits are full of sugar and should be avoided is a myth. In reality, I embraced raw, seasonal, and local fruits as part of my diet, which contributed to my overall success.
