Before we get into the story, we’re going to start this off by saying the babies are all doing just fine. With that out of the way, here’s what’s going on.
Two toddlers wearing nothing but their diapers were stranded out in the middle of a Texas highway after they were ejected from a Jeep Wrangler that flipped over several times over the weekend. Again, these kids are both OK. I’m not much of a miracle guy, but this is really something. Anyway, the Jeep crashed into another vehicle on Interstate 10 East in Freeport, Texas on August 11.
In a disturbing video captured by a passerby, we can see the two babies just walking around in the middle of the highway wearing nothing but their diapers. Soon, an adult can be seen comforting one of the toddlers while another person runs up to the other, picking them up and holding them in their arms. It’s a really surreal sight. Right now, it’s not clear if the two children were in car seats at the time of the crash, according to the New York Post. All the while, you can see the Wrangler flipped upside down in the background, roof off.
The adult and the two kids were taken to a local hospital for treatment, a senior deputy told The Post, and luckily all three are in good condition. The driver of the other vehicle wasn’t injured.
Here’s what officials told the Post:
“Deputies responded to a major crash on the main lanes of the East Freeway at Freeport. A two-car crash where one of the cars flipped over several times causing ejection.”

“The car was occupied by one adult and two children. They are being transported to a hospital. No reported injuries to the occupants in the other car.”
I’ve really never seen anything like this, and I’m not sure how something of this magnitude could even happen. We don’t know what these kids were buckled into, but I cannot imagine it was a car seat.
