Low-cost airline SpiceJet is seeking apporval of the shareholders to raise funds. According to an exchange filing by the company, a special resolution will be put forth for voting to raise of funds aggregating up to Rs 3,000 crore.
“the Company is seeking approval of the members of the Company by way of a special resolution through postal ballot, only by means of remote electronic voting, for the raising of funds aggregating up to Rs.3,000,00,00,000 (Rupees Three Thousand Crore only),” the company said in an exchange filing.

Earlier in January this year, SpiceJet received in-principle approval from the BSE for a fund infusion of Rs 2,242-crore and raised Rs 1,060 crore under preferential issue in two tranches.
