Louis Vuitton has announced the appointment of football star Jude Bellingham as the latest ambassador of the French luxury maison.
The budding English footballer commenced his sporting career at Birmingham City Football Club, before heading to Borussia Dortmund, and then Real Madrid, where he became the top league scorer. The 21-year-old star has also stood on the international stage with England’s national team, establishing himself as one of the most promising talents in international football.
In his short career, key accolades include being named this year’s La Liga Player of the Season, where he was instrumental for Real Madrid in their La Liga and Champions League wins.
It’s not the first time Louis Vuitton has called up Bellingham. The star footballer previously attended Pharrell Williams’ first Spring/Summer 2024 show for Louis Vuitton, with his “keen eye for fashion… resonating with Williams’ vision of dandy and personal expression in menswear,” said Louis Vuitton in a press release.
“I’m excited to welcome Jude to the House, his charismatic personality and what he has already achieved on his inspiring journey will add so much to our LVers community,” added Williams, Louis Vuitton’s men’s creative director.
Cementing the partnership, several photographic images, lensed by photographer Gabriel Moses and styled by Matthew Henson, have been released by the Parisian house, with Bellingham captured in his known open arms score celebration pose.
“It is such a pleasure to join the Louis Vuitton family. Since I was young, I have always been attracted to the house. I am so happy to continue building a relationship with Pharrell whose work I truly admire,” added Bellingham, who joins a vast roster of celebrity ambassadors including K-pop star Lisa, from BlackPink, Zendaya, Cate Blanchett, and, Chloe Grace Moretz, among several others.
