The Fine Art Photography Awards 2024 celebrated the remarkable talent of amateur photographers in its Outstanding Amateur Category, showcasing breathtaking landscape images that captured the beauty and drama of the natural world.
The winning photos, selected for their creativity, technical excellence, and emotional impact, featured a diverse array of landscapes—from serene coastal scenes bathed in soft light to rugged mountains enveloped in mist. #1. 1st Place Winner: Curves of Fjords by Eva Chupikova
These images capturing the curves of fjords through the lens of a minimalist perspective and black and white medium were shot on the island of Senja, Norway in September 2023. The absence of colour aims to magnify the eloquence of the elegant curvature, guiding the eye along the slopes of these majestic natural wonders.

Taken At Rydal water in the UK whilst on holiday. Canon 5D MK4 with a 17-40mm lens at 0.5 sec, F14 and iso 800. Taken very early morning, with the rising mist over the hill. Subdued colour palette to enforce the feel of tranquility.
