Ranchi Varanasi Vande Bharat Express: In a piece of good news for the pilgrims who visit or are planning to visit the holy pilgrimage site Parasnath, the Indian Railways has announced that the the Ranchi-Varanasi Vande Bharat train will now stop at the holy pilgrimage site Parasnath station located in Giridih district of Jharkhand. Keeping in mind the rising public demand for a stoppage at the holy station, BJP state in-charge Laxmikant Vajpayee wrote a letter on July 13 requesting the Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnav, to make a stopover of the Ranchi Varanasi Vande Bharat train at Parasnath station.
In a further update, the Railway Minister approved the stoppage of the train at the Parasnath station, which the Railway Minister formally informed to Vajpayee through a letter, as per a report by Hindustan.
