Her marriage to fellow IAS officer Pradeep Gawande garnered media attention in 2022. In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Bhajanlal Government has transferred 108 IAS officers. Currently, Tina Dabi serves as the District Collector of Barmer, while Gawande has been posted as the Collector of Jalore. Not only Tina, but her younger sister, Ria Dabi, is also an IAS officer from the 2020 batch, having secured an impressive All India Rank(AIR) of 15.

As noted previously, IAS Tina Dabi’s mother, Himali Dabi, also successfully passed the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam. She went on to serve as an Indian Engineering Services (IES) officer.
Himali Dabi took voluntary retirement to support her daughters, Tina and Ria Dabi, in their UPSC preparations and help them achieve their goal of becoming successful IAS officers.
