Magda Butrym Spring 2025 Ready-to-Wear Runway, Fashion Show & Collection Review

Following the opening of its first store in the heart of Warsaw in May, in addition to 187 points of sale worldwide, Magda Butrym is ready to go big on brand awareness.

For her first official presentation during Paris Fashion Week, the Polish designer staged an intimate salon show at a grand apartment overlooking Parc Monceau that was adorned with soft pink roses — a signature of the brand as seen on bags and garments. She served Polish bottled water alongside Champagne.

As models walked around delicate Polish glass art placed on top of hand-knitted lace from the region, the designer showed empowering outerwear with ’80s power shoulders and sheer looks with patterns inspired by the traditional Polish tablecloth. Butrym’s feminine ruched dresses and floral-inspired evening numbers were plentiful as well.

“I want it to be dreamy, romantic, and Slavic. We work with artists who usually create items with a folkish vibe, but we make them in an elevated and city-appropriate way,” Butrym said.

Recently, the brand also doubled down on handbags that are suitable for urban, career women. Consider the Brigitte, a boxy style large enough to fit a laptop or a Stanley cup.
