Instead, he has made headlines for purchasing a luxurious house in a prime location in India’s Silicon Valley, Bengaluru, at a staggering price. He has acquired a second flat in the exclusive Kingfisher Towers for Rs 50 crore, setting a new record for residential prices in the southern city, according to the Times of India. Narayan Murthy’s Luxurious Flat
The Rs 50 crore flat is located on the 16th floor and spans about 8,400 square feet. The flat has four bedrooms, including the master bedroom. Murthy also got five parking spaces in the luxury flat. The property was sold at Rs 59,500 per square foot, as per various media reports.
Murthy’s Luxurious Flat Link With Vijay Mallya
Kingfisher Towers is located in Bengaluru’s one of prime location—UB City area, and was built on the ancestral lands of fugitive businessman Vijay Mallya. The 34-floor building has only 81 apartments, boasting exclusivity and luxurious amenities. Murthy reportedly bought the flat from a Mumbai-based businessman.
Not The First Purchase At The Kingfisher Towers
Having a history of purchasing in Kingfisher Towers, the Murthy clan made another acquisition four years back. It was Sudha Murty, who bought an apartment on the 23rd floor, a notable investment of Rs 29 crore. Other eminent dwellers of this building correspondingly include Biocon’s Chairwoman, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, and Rana George.

Ever since its establishment back in 2010, Kingfisher Towers has seen a significant surge in the worth of its properties. Back then, the starting price for a flat was Rs 22,000 per square foot. Fast forward to today, and the same property price has skyrocketed, doubling and even going beyond.
