Tina Dabi and her sister Ria Dabi became a national sensation after both aced the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) and became renowned IAS officers. In 2016, Tina Dabi shot to fame when she emerged as the topper in UPSC CSE, achieving the coveted All-India Rank (AIR) 1, in her first attempt.
Four years later, Tina’s younger sister Ria Dabi, repeated her older sibling’s UPSC success when she cracked the UPSC CSE 2020 with an impressive AIR 15 in her very first attempt.

Where is Tina Dabi?
Tina Dabi, arguably the more famous of the two sisters is currently posted as District Collector & Magistrate of Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. In 2018, Tina Dabi married fellow UPSC topper and IAS officer Athar Aamir Khan, but the union was short-lived as the couple were divorced in 2020.
Both have since remarried, with Tina Dabi tying the knot with IAS Pradeep Gawande on April 20, 2022. Gawande and Dabi met when both were incharge of regulating supplies in the Rajasthan Health Department during the COVID-19 pandemic.
A doctor by profession, Pradeep Gawande is a 2013-batch IAS officer, making him three years senior to his wife, IAS Tina Dabi. The couple became parents last when Tina gave birth to a baby boy.
Where is Ria Dabi?
Ria Dabi, Tina’s younger sister, who followed in her older sibling’s footsteps and became an IAS officer. Ria Dabi is currently posted as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in Girwa, in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
In April 2023, Ria Dabi married IPS officer Manish Kumar. The two had been friends since their meeting at the LBSNAA Academy in Mussoorie and finally tied the knot in a court ceremony with their families’ consent, according to DNA.
Manish, who is from the same UPSC 2021 batch as his wife, Ria Dabi, is currently posted as the Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Mavli, Rajasthan.
