Carolina Herrera named guest of honor at Dubai Fashion Week

Carolina Herrera is set to hit the runway at the upcoming Dubai Fashion Week, kicking off on on October 8, as the event’s esteemed guest of honor. 

The brand will present its SS24 collection, on October 9, featuring exclusive designs for the occasion. Guests will find an immersive experience combining fashion, art, beauty and entertainment. The evening is expected to exude an air of sophistication and refinement, complementing the brand’s style.

“We are thrilled to announce that Carolina Herrera is this season’s guest of honor to inaugurate Dubai Fashion Week SS24,” said Mohammed Aqra, chief strategy officer of the Arab Fashion Council, which co-founded Dubai Fashion Week, along with Dubai Design District (d3), and a member of Tecom Group PJSC. 

“Carolina Herrera’s unwavering commitment to excellence, coupled with their unique DNA that has always been appreciated by our region, aligns perfectly with the spirit of Dubai Fashion Week. We anticipate that Herrera’s presentation will undoubtedly leave an indelible mark on the fashion landscape regionally and inspire aspiring designers and fashion enthusiasts alike.”

To honor the house’s creative director, Wes Gordon, an intimate dinner will be hosted, bringing together top-tier media, buyers, and prominent celebrities from the fashion industry worldwide. Herrera’s clients will also be able to privately explore the collection during a trunk show scheduled throughout the same week.
