‘Jawan‘ has created a huge stir at the box office ever since the film released. The Shah Rukh Khan starrer has become the third all time blockbuster of the year after ‘Pathaan‘ and ‘Gadar 2‘. The film continues to remain steady at the box office and on its day 25, which is Sunday, it managed to remain steady despite facing competition from ‘Fukrey 3‘ and ‘The Vaccine War’.
The early estimate total of ‘Jawan’ on Sunday in all languages is around Rs 8.80 crore nett. The total collection of the film so far (including all the languages) is Rs 595 crore as per Sacnilk. The numbers of the Hindi version only will be lesser than these.
Ever since its release, ‘Jawan’ didn’t saw competition from any other film. It was the sole ruler at the box office and occupied most screens. However, ‘Fukrey 3’ and ‘The Vaccine War’ have released now, yet ‘Jawan’ remains unaffected. This, despite the fact that ‘Fukrey’ is actually seeing a growth in the business and is expected to earn Rs 50 crore mark by the end of its day 5.
In the Hindi circuits ‘Jawan’ will be behind ‘Gadar 2’, but if the south markets are taken into consideration, it was just a normal hit in those areas. Looks like, ‘Jawan’ will still continue to hold steady in the coming days and especially Monday with October 2 being a National holiday due to Gandhi Jayanti as the newer releases don’t have a mass appeal which will cater to the single screen theatres.
