The selection process for the Act Apprentice training program is as follows:
• Merit List Preparation: The merit list will be prepared based on the average of percentage marks obtained by applicants in both Matriculation (10th) and ITI examinations. Equal weightage is given to both these scores. For instance, if an applicant has scored 70% in Matriculation and 80% in ITI, the average percentage would be calculated as (70 + 80) / 2, resulting in a 75% average.
• Seat Allocation: The merit list will also take into account the number of available seats in each trade and the reservations allocated for various categories such as Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Ex-Servicemen, and Disabled Persons, as per the prevailing guidelines.
