Whether in portraits or nature scenes, yellow invokes a sense of harmony and connection, highlighting the beauty in diversity. From bustling streets to festivals, its presence evokes a shared appreciation for life’s vivid moments.
Through a photographer’s lens, yellow serves as a metaphor for the richness of human experience, celebrating differences while revealing the common threads that bind us all together.

About Tanusree Mitra
I am a documentary photographer currently living in Kolkata, the City of Joy. I often leave to chase my dreams and passions. I love to travel, see different places, meet people from different cultures, and connect with them through my photography.
On this journey, I have acquired three distinctions: AFIP and EFIP from the Federation of Indian Photography and AFIAP from the Fédération Internationale de l’Art Photographique. I have also received many national and international awards, including gold, silver, and bronze medals.
My significant achievements this year include winning the Pindle India Contest and the Orange City Silver Jubilee Contest. I was nominated for the VIPA in 2021 and shortlisted for the Siena International Photo Award. I am also a contributor to Getty Stock Agency. My photographs have been published on various websites and in magazines, including 1x.com, Eisomoy, The Times of India, Indian Photo Art Magazine, Asian Photography Magazine, and Shades of Colors, among others.
