AEW DYNAMITE RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR DEC. 6
I hear the directors of Genetic Control have been buying all the properties that have recently been sold, taking risks oh so bold. It’s said now that people will be shorter in height, they can fit twice as many in the same building site, but me? I’m just here to liveblog this pro wrestling show for you, folks.

Jon Moxley wins by referee stoppage with the sleeper hold, eating three more points.
Jay White and Jay Lethal get a video package with dueling promos about their match tonight.
Renee Paquette is on the stage to interview Roderick Strong and the Kingdom.
Strong says it’s obvious that Maxwell Jacob Friedman is going to stab his best friend by proxy Samoa Joe in the back. Renee asks what if MJF isn’t the guy he thinks he is, and Roddy says she sounds crazy and rants about how he’ll live with the consequences of his decision… until now.
He’ll no longer suffer consequences for his decisions or be held back by the wheelchair, and Matt Taven throws the chair off the stage to punctuate the point. The wheelchair has held him back for far too long he says and he throws the mic down on the stage.
Back from commercial, Renee Paquette is waiting outside of MJF’s locker room when “Hangman” Adam Page rolls up.
He says he got hit in the back of the head with a cinder block and choked unconscious and he’s not doing great but he has a message for Shane Strickland. He concedes that he lost and that Shane beat him, but at Full Gear he took something from him that he’ll never get back and now it’s bigger than either of them and it’s not over.
He knows what Strickland wants more than anything, and because he did this to him, he’ll make sure he never gets it.
Max pops out of the locker room and says their match was real impressive, fighting it out to find out who gets the most STDs, and Page says he doesn’t have 30 minutes to chat like usual and leaves. Friedman tells him he has to take 30 minutes to wake up the crowd after Hangman puts them to sleep.
Page comes back and MJF says the last time they met it was when he verbally bent Page over the top rope in front of Bret Hart, right? Adam points out he won that match, Max talks about beating Hangman for the Dynamite Diamond Ring, and Page says it made him so upset he had to console himself by winning the world title.
MJF compares reign lengths, Page says he’s sure he’ll enjoy telling his ninth cat about his year-long title reign in his old age, and Max just says it outright that he thinks Hangman is the Devil. Adam says if you want to be honest it’s probably just MJF under the mask.
Friedman gets in his face and suggests a fight, Samoa Joe rolls up and tells Max they have other issues to attend to.
Mark Briscoe (0) vs. Shane “Swerve” Strickland (6) (Continental Classic Gold League Match)

Renee Paquette interviews Mariah May backstage.
She says her meeting with Tony Khan went great last week and they want her debut to be as good as possible, but she refuses to share who her first opponent is because the focus should be on Toni Storm tonight.
Samoa Joe makes his entrance and finds himself surrounded by the Devil’s men.
The lights go out.
When they come back up, Joe is alone and the Devil appears briefly on the tron before we cut to Maxwell Jacob Friedman laid out and unconscious backstage.
Joe rushes to the back and we go to break.
Back from commercial, we get a recap of what we just saw.
Jon Moxley cuts a promo backstage about how he’s gonna win the Continental Classic because he’s the Ace of the World. Shane Strickland rolls up and says he’s gonna do whatever it takes to win, no matter who’s in his way, and Prince Nana laughs about it. Jon says that’s good because he’ll do the same when they meet next week.
Ben Mankiewicz gets a cutaway to introduce Toni Storm, talking about how she encapsulates the trial and tribulation of being a woman in pro wrestling and tonight might be her greatest role of all.
Skye Blue vs. Toni Storm (c) (AEW Women’s World Championship)
Storm grounding her early, side headlock on the mat, Blue gets to her feet, reverses to a wristlock, Toni reverses and has a strut! Skye with an arm drag, tijeras sends the champion to the floor, Storm cuts her off with a forearm! Luther picks her up and she drops Blue off the apron with a lariat!

Grappling to start, White with a side headlock, reversed, hip toss, drop toehold into La Casita, only two! Cartwheel through a hip toss, Lethal follows with a dropkick and a strut! Switchblade takes the momentum and we go to break!
Back from commercial, Lethal Combination and both men are down and out! Lethal up top, diving elbow, cover… NOPE! Brainbuster, ducking and dodging, going chop for chop, Lethal Injection countered, victory roll pin, chop block counters another Lethal Injection! Blade Runner countered, White rolls through…
Jay White wins by pinfall with a victory roll pin, earning three points.
Commentary hypes up the Rampage card and we go to break.
Adam Copeland vs. Christian Cage (c) (AEW TNT Championship)
Squaring up, Copeland throws the first slap, taking him down into a sleeper hold but Cage makes the ropes! Adam picks him up for Beats of the Bodhran, paying tribute to his comeback buddy Sheamus before blasting Christian off the ropes! Following after, Copeland smashing his face into the announce desk over and over!
Back inside, Christian begs off, but Adam ain’t having it and the action goes back to the floor and he chokes Cage against the barricade! Christian turns the tide and throws him over the barricade and we go to break!
Back from commercial, Cage with overhead elbows, clawing at the nose, rear chinlock applied, pressing the attack and Copeland snaps his neck over the top rope! Back inside, frog splash connects but Adam kicks out! Copeland with the Impaler… CAGE KICKS OUT! Up top, jockeying for position, Adam with a Liger Bomb… STILL NO!
Back and forth, Christian leapfrogs a spear and immediately plants him with a Killswitch for two! Laying in wait, charging in, Copeland sidesteps the spear but clips referee Bryce Remsburg and collapses! Christian kicks Bryce low and gets the title, Adam ducks it, spear but no referee!
Both men down, Shanna Wayne comes to ringside and blasts Copeland with the title belt! She’s with Christian! Cage picks him up, Killswitch connects, Remsburg wakes up to count it…
Christian Cage wins by pinfall with the Killswitch, retaining the AEW TNT Championship.
Post-match, Christian shoos the ringside doctor away to stand tall with one foot on Copeland’s chest.
