Pakistan will get a lot of help in increasing its military capability.
New Delhi: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has decided to help Pakistan with its defence requirements across various units and sectors. With this move, Turkey will provide help and support to strengthen Pakistan’s military for which Turkish defence firms will collaborate with Pakistani defence industry.
The Turkish defence companies are also going to set up their production facilities in Pakistan. Turkish defence firm Repkon, based in Istanbul, has made a new plan for Pakistan.
According to media reports, Turkish defence company Repkon is planning to establish a highly automated production line for the production of 155-millimeter artillery in Pakistan. Apart from this, Repkon is also going to set up an explosive filling line in Pakistan. This explosive filling company will have a capacity to produce 1,20,000 units every year.
Turkish defence firm Repkon had signed an agreement with the US Department of Defence to set up production lines for 155 millimeter artillery shells in Texas, USA. At the same time, now Repkon has also entered into an agreement with Pakistan’s Wah Industries Limited.
Turkish defence firms are known for their design and production capabilities. Demand for Turkish defence firms is increasing due to this. Repkon is drawing attention in Turkey and around the world with its capabilities towards establishing strategic defense, aerospace and space industry products, and production lines.
Pakistan’s Wah Industries Ltd works as a contractor under an ordnance factory. It produces arms, ammunition and military-grade hardware for Pakistan’s armed forces and international customers.
However, now Pakistan’s Wah Industries Limited has entered into an agreement with Turkish defense firm Repkon. After joining this firm, Pakistan will get a lot of help in increasing its military capability. Apart from this, this agreement will also be helpful in increasing the export capacity of Pakistan.
