Alibaba in Spain; Asics EMEA results; Boss-NFL expansion

CommerceHub, one of the world’s largest commerce networks for global retailers and brands, has announced implementation of its e-commerce platform with Alibaba’s Miravia, a premier selling channel in Spain.

Miravia

The integration will “power Miravia’s mission to become the everyday e-commerce ecosystem where brands, buyers and creators connect”. Miravia, which now has access to CommerceHub’s comprehensive e-commerce solution, launched last year as a new e-commerce model in Spain. It’s both a marketplace and entertainment space “where consumers can access a wide offering of products from their favourite brands, and learn about the latest trends in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle through innovative solutions like exclusive content created by influencers or virtual make-up try-on lenses”.

Asics EMEA has reported a consolidated net revenue increase of 12.1% across all distribution channels for Q2, versus the same period last year, with an operating income margin of 10.4%. It saw profitable growth across all its categories, including Performance Running, Tennis, Indoor and SportStyle. Wholesale channels reported year-on-year growth of 11.3% with significant increases in Iberia (31.2%), Benelux (26.3%), Germany (23.6%), the UK (22.4%) and Sweden (15.8%). It also reported year-on-year growth in e-commerce with revenues increasing 32.9% YTD.

The Boss label has once again joined forces with the US’s National Football League (NFL) to expand the Boss x NFL merchandise collection. The new selection includes sweatshirts, vests, jackets, joggers, and more including an expanded list of 22 teams that are represented in the capsule. It comes with a campaign starring Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Trevon Diggs who’s the cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys, and Damar Hamlin.
