You know that one friend who spends the rest of the year looking at pictures from a weekend-long vacation? We see them, we feel them….we are them. Since last October, we’ve spent months reminiscing about Allure’s first-ever live consumer event. Now, we can finally look forward to doing it all over again. That’s right, Best of Beauty: The Live Event is back for 2024.
After months of vetting, testing, retesting, and reviewing hundreds of beauty products, we get the honor of announcing a new class of Allure Best of Beauty winners for you, our beauty-obsessed readers—and honestly the thrill never wanes.
Last year, we welcomed you into our world with a beauty-filled day of sampling, conversation, and product giveaways. There were expert panels—like a conversation about inclusive skin care between Loved01 founder John Legend, board-certified dermatologist Naana Boakye, and Allure editor-in-chief Jessica Cruel—as well as one-on-one consultations with best-in-class makeup artists (hi, Daniel Martin and Danessa Myricks), hairstylists (thanks for coming, Lacy Redway!), and dermatologists (Dr. Shereene Idriss, you’re the best). And, of course, there were treatment opportunities—hair touchups, nail appointments, lash applications and more.

We’d like to cordially invite you into the life of a beauty editor with an in-person showcase of our 2024 Best of Beauty Award winners on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Chelsea Industrial, located at 535-551 West 28th Street in New York City. Allure editors will once again gather with beauty’s top experts in makeup, skin care, aesthetics, hair, and nails for a day of fun, connection, education, pampering, and products (so many products).
Tickets are available now for purchase on our live event site. General admission tickets ($149) include access to our recreation of the legendary Allure Beauty Closet, featuring product testing and sampling… and of course a gift bag (valued at $250) containing full-size products from our Best of Beauty winners and event partners.
