Family and friends flooded social media with messages of love and support.

“He was the most amazing man,” Tearoiti’s fiancée Tiarna told 7NEWS.com.au. “He was so funny and so humble.”

Tearoiti was born and raised in Brisbane before joining the Australian Defence Force and settling in Sydney as a leading seaman.

“Noah was so happy all the time, he had the biggest smile and the best laugh,” Tiarna said.

“We had big belly laughs every day”.

Tiarna and Tearoiti met in 2019 and settled in Coogee, where Tiarna gave birth to their baby girl 10 months ago.

The couple were only months away from their dream wedding in the Cook Islands.

“He was the best dad to our daughter,” Tiarna said.

“He always referred to us as ‘my girls’.

“He would talk to his sisters every day, his family was everything to him.”

Tearoiti is remembered not only as a doting family man, but an avid football player, loyal friend and artist who loved music.

Tiarna described how their home was full of his paintings.

“He was such a beautiful man,” Tiarna said, “he was my world.”

A GoFundMe created by close friend Jacob Clifton has already reached over $40000 of a $50000 goal in the two days it has been online.

“A father, husband-to-be, son, brother and active Australian Defence Force member,” Clifton wrote of Tearoiti, saying that in his “short 29 years, Noah’s impact on the world will never be forgotten”.
