Luxury fashion brand Amiri announced on Friday the opening of a second retail outlet in Dubai with regional partners, the Soho Group.
Located within the Mall of Emirates, the new store spans 3100 square feet and draws inspiration from the brand’s established ethos. It features a custom plaster façade adorned with Amiri’s classic wave motif, mirrored by patterns of lighting that create a unique ripple effect.
Echoing the laid-back elegance synonymous with its Californian aesthetics, the interior ambiance uses a natural material palette of colorful onyx, white oak, and travertine to form a warm and richly textured spatial experience.
The store houses lounge spaces decorated with modernist furniture and soft furnishings, including the brand’s signature checkered rug cast in a sky-blue colorway. Completing the space is custom artworks by Los Angeles-based artist Jason Revok, reflecting site-specific works showcased in Amiri’s Rodeo flagship.
The Los Angeles-based brand, launched by Mike Amiri in 2014, opened its first flagship store in the Middle East at The Dubai Mall, back in December 2022.
The move is part of larger international retail expansion plans and joins international boutiques in Tokyo and Shanghai. Amiri equally operates several U.S. locations.
