To the sound of retro hits from the 1970s and 1980s, the Palace turned into a runway on Tuesday, September 26 for a festive fashion show organized by lingerie brand Etam. For the sixteenth edition of its live show, which was broadcast live on social networks and on the French TMC channel, the brand created quite an event in the legendary Faubourg-Montmartre venue. The show took place not only on the stage but also among guests in the rows and on the balcony, where celebrities and influencers sang and danced in their rhinestone-studded evening outfits.
On a glittering runway, Corona opened the show with a rendition of The rhythm of the night. The first models came out smiling in lingerie ensembles featuring black and white lace, fishnets and plumetis. Silver accents featured, in a cuff, a micro-skirt and pearly shorties, bringing an extra dose of sparkle to an already dazzling show.
After a few dark green looks, red outfits warmed the atmosphere, combining lace and transparencies. This was followed by a play of straps and superimpositions that reinforced the sexy mood, heightened by models of varying morphologies, all displaying great confidence.
This year, supermodel Constance Jablonsk, the brand’s catwalk ambassador for the past few years, was a spectator at the event, which aims to strengthen the brand’s position on the French market, and also serves to communicate internationally, where the Milchior family’s company is expanding (660 stores, including 420 in France).
The 80 or so pieces unveiled during the evening are already available on the company’s e-commerce site and in stores.
The show came to an end with all the models dancing on stage, followed by a performance by Boney M. Other artists included Baccara, Shygirl and Lous and the Yakuza.
Guests including Louane and Christina Milian, Vitaa, Tyga, Laury Thilleman, Ophélie Meunier, Frédérique Bel, Arielle Dombasle and Rachida Dati quickly joined in the celebrations. A successful Parisian night, which carried on with a DJ and flowing champagne.
