Another PlayStation exclusive game is coming to PC – but not the one we want | Gaming | Entertainment

With PlayStation exclusive Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut about to make its debut on PC, fans have been speculating about the next game to make the transition from console to Steam. If the latest leaks are anything to go by, we probably won’t have to wait very long for the big reveal, as Sony gets ready to hold a State of Play event, which is tipped to take place in May. During the imminent State of Play event, Sony is expected to confirm plans to bring God of War Ragnarok to PC later this year. While the release of any PlayStation game on Steam is good news for fans, it’s perhaps not quite the announcement many of us had been hoping for.

Indeed, with Bloodborne once again trending on X (formerly Twitter), it appears as though many fans of the PS4 FromSoftware exclusive are desperate for the game to get a PC and PS5 port.

FromSoftware’s 2015 action role-playing game is an absolute masterpiece, despite only running at 30 frames-per-second.

In theory, a PC release would give fans the ability to play the game at 60FPS and beyond, something that would breathe new life into its faster-paced combat system.

A PC version of Bloodborne would also benefit from improved visuals, not to mention mod support from dedicated fans.

As for God of War Ragnarok, the PC release was revealed by industry insider billbil-kun on Dealabs.

While there’s no concrete release date for the game, the piece claims that the PC port of the God of War sequel will be announced during the next State of Play.

Judging by the description for Ghost of Tsushima on Steam, a PC version will launch with unlocked frame-rates and variety of graphics options.

That’s on top of support for Ultrawide (21:9), Super Ultrawide (32:9) and even a 48:9 Triple Monitor set-up.

Elsewhere, Sony has confirmed that the PC version of Ghost of Tsushima will support performance with upscaling and frame generation technologies like NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3 and Intel XeSS.

Needless to say, the PC versions of popular PlayStation games come with all post-release DLC, updates and expansions.
