Wozniak, 73, was attending the conference in Mexico City, where he was scheduled to give a speech, according to the outlet. The conference was held in the Santa Fe neighborhood of the city Nov. 7 and 8. A nearby hospital in the neighborhood was not able to confirm with SFGATE whether Wozniak was there.

An organizer from the World Business Forum confirmed Wozniak’s hospitalization to CNN En Español and said Wozniak was taken to the hospital at about 3 p.m. Wednesday, a few minutes before he was supposed to speak. Wozniak’s presentation was reportedly scheduled for 4 p.m., an hour after he experienced “heath problems,” El Universal, a media outlet in Mexico City reported.

Mexican media outlets reported that Wozniak experienced a stroke and said he was in stable condition. The tech genius was experiencing vertigo, according to TMZ.
