Vancouver-based fashion retailer Aritzia has opened its second San Diego boutique at the Fashion Valley shopping mall.
The new Fashion Valley boutique was designed in line with Aritzia’s signature approach to retail, featuring curated artwork, marble and wire-wheeled white oak floor fixtures, and textured brick arches. Completing the space is 20th-century European furniture and a lounge area.
The boutique houses Aritzia’s extensive collection of exclusive brands including Wilfred, Babaton, Tna, The Super Puff, and Sunday Best.
This expansion highlights Aritzia’s commitment to growing its presence in California and the broader U.S. market. Last month, the Canadian retailer opened its third boutique in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, at the Legacy West shopping mall.
Aritzia announced a 7.8% increase in net revenue, for the first quarter ended June 2, 2024, reaching $498.6 million, with comparable sales growth of 2%. In the United States, net revenue surged by 13% to $284.7 million, comprising 57.1% of net revenue, driven by the company’s real estate expansion strategy and growing brand awareness.
