Oakland A’s manager Mark Kotsay has reduced the price of his Rancho Santa Fe, Calif. mansion by more than $1 million to $8.35 million. It was previously listed last year for $9.9 million, reports Realtor.com.
The sprawling 13,108-square-foot home in a gated community has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms. It is completely renovated with an elevator, home theater, dry sauna and an 1,100-square-foot separate guest quarters.
The property sits on the 16th hole of the golf course and has a wrap-around deck with panoramic views of the fairway. In the backyard, there is also a mini-golf course, pool with slide, dog run and a wood-fired pizza oven.
Sean Barry and Susie Mikolajewski with Barry Estates are the listing agents.
Kotsay was born in Whittier and grew up in Southern California. He became manager of the A’s in 2022 after coaching for the team for the previous five years. As a player, he played for the A’s, San Diego Padres and Chicago White Sox, among other MLB teams.
