St. Agni, the minimalist Australian women’s fashion brand cofounded by husband and wife duo Lara and Matt Fells in 2014, on Thursday will debut a swimwear collection.
“Expanding into swimwear felt like a natural progression for St. Agni, as we are an Australian-founded design studio, where swimwear is an integral part of our lifestyle,” cofounder and creative director Lara Fells told WWD, adding that swimwear reflects the Byron Bay-founded label’s coastal living ethos. “Creating timeless, versatile pieces for this category, it felt like an authentic extension of our brand’s aesthetic and philosophy.”
Fells said growing up in Australia, purchasing a new swimsuit before their summer holiday was always a tradition, so it felt natural for the brand to launch its debut swim line for resort. In addition, the swim capsule, which features minimalist-leaning maillots and bikinis in recycled nylon and spandex, priced $85 to $195, serves as an extension of the brand’s latest ready-to-wear lineup, as seen through the swim campaign’s matching cover-ups and simple layers. Going forward, the brand plans to release an annual swim capsule alongside its resort collection.
The debut swim collection features classic bikini top and bottom styles designed to be mixed and matched, as seen through monochrome neutral-hued bandeau, triangle and balconette tops with high-waisted or slim bikini briefs. In addition, the capsule includes a singular map printed bikini and scoop one-piece suit.
St. Agni’s resort 2025 swim collection is available for purchase on the brand’s e-commerce and with select global retail partners.
