Cracked UPSC in the fourth attempt
IAS officer Anamika Ramesh drew inspiration from her father, Ramesh Chand Meena, who had cleared the civil services exam on his third attempt. His journey motivated Anamika to pursue a similar path. After securing All India Rank 116 in her fourth attempt in the 2019 UPSC exam, she was allocated the Tamil Nadu cadre. Throughout her preparation, Anamika remained committed, believing that while the civil services journey is challenging, it can be conquered with perseverance and patience.
Her father, Ramesh Chand Meena, an IIT-Delhi graduate, is currently serving as the Member Secretary of the Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu (SDATN). His success and guidance were key influences in shaping Anamika’s career path.
