What will Louis Vuitton dream up for next January’s Paris Fashion Week Men? Last season, under the aegis of Pharrell Williams, the luxury label showed on the opening night of the fashion week, making a huge impression and nearly overshadowing the rest of the event. The next edition of Paris Fashion Week Men is scheduled from January 16 to 21, 2024, and will feature another 74 labels including Louis Vuitton.
The calendar includes 42 runway shows over six days, with the return of Valentino and Balmain, scheduled on Saturday at 6 pm CET and 8.30 pm CET respectively (White Mountaineering will show at 7 pm on the same day). GMBH will close the week on Sunday at 7 pm CET, unless a surprise show is added at the very end. Japanese label Auralee, US label Winnie and Chinese label Ziggy Chen, which showed presentations last season, will instead stage their first runway shows this year.
Also among the presentations is Indian label Kartik Research, an LVMH prize semi-finalist founded in 2021, previously known as Karu Research. French label Ouest Paris, led by Arthur Robert, will feature at the Sphere showroom for the first time, while Meta Campania Collective (developed by Jon Strassburg, Heiko Keinath and Constanze Walcher) will also be presenting its timeless Italian style for the first time.
Compared to last June’s edition, several labels will give this season a miss, among them French names Marine Serre, Etudes, Koché, Ludovic de Saint Sernin, Georges Wendell and Courrèges, as well as British label Bianca Saunders, while Lazoschmidl will stage a presentation instead of a runway show.
