French fashion brand Ba&sh announced on Monday the opening of its first flagship store in North America.
Located in the New York City’s artsy SoHo district, the new Ba&sh flagship store spans 200 square metres and was designed in collaboration with interior designer, Brandi Howe. Created to mimic “living spaces,” the store boasts a warm minimalist aesthetic, awash in natural colours like ecru, carbon and terracotta, with licks of texture thanks to metallic and wooden finishes.
The latest New York City opening serves as the Parisian brand’s first flagship store in North America, and the firm’s 50th store in the region, taking its store count to 41 in the U.S. and 9 in Canada. The ready-to-wear brand is also available across 200 stockist in North America.
“It’s with great joy that we announce of our North American flagship. It’s more than just an opening – it’s a way for us to create strong ties with New York and a real home Ba&sh. It’s an opportunity to get close to our community in New York and the U.S., to welcome our customers and share our new collections, season after season,” said Barbara Boccara and Sharon Krief, founders of Ba&sh.
Ba&sh first entered North America in 2018, and since then, total revenue in the region has increased sevenfold, according to the brand.
“7 years after establishing the brand in what become our no.1 international market, this moment is a major step forward in our mission to brighten life through fashion, bring the spirit of Ba&sh – its joie de vivre, confidence, and elegance – to one of the most iconic fashion districts in the world,” said Pierre Arnaud Grenade, CEO, Ba&sh.
Earlier this year, the popular French label became a certified B Corp company, joining the ranks of fashion firms that have gained the key eco/ethical accolade.
