Several areas in Bengaluru are expected to face power cuts on August 26 and 27 due to scheduled maintenance and repair work by the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) and Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL).
New Delhi: Due to scheduled maintenance and repair work by the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) and Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL), several areas in Bengaluru are expected to face power cuts on August 26 and 27, that is today and tomorrow.
BESCOM has also said that work including Jalasiri 24 * 7 water supply work, road widening and underground drainage plant electrification, 11KV link line for bifurcate the load from F-2 Gowdihallifeeder from NG Halli MUSS To Gowdihalli High school limits, NH-48 road widening shifting will be taken up during the power cuts.
The city will have a 6-hour power outage from 10 AM to 4 PM or from 12 PM to 6 PM, while other sections may experience a 4-hour power outage, or from 10 AM to 2 PM, as per a report in the Livemint.
