On 21st March, Sensex closed 539.50 points or 0.75 per cent higher and settled at 72,641.19. The NSE Nifty traded with a positive bias and closed with gains of 172.85 points or 0.79 per cent i.e. settled at 22,011.95.

On 21st March, The Nifty Bank Comprises 12 banking stocks, rose by 374 points or 0.81 per cent to finish at 46,684.90. The Nifty Midcap100 and Smallcap100 settled 2.43 percent and 2.51 percent, respectively.

TCS Stocks & IT stocks: As Accenture slashed its fiscal year 2024 revenue guidance to 1-3 per cent as against the earlier 2-5 percent it will impact on shares today. After the news, Infosys ADR slipped 3.8 per cent, and Wipro ADR went down by 1.8 per cent. 

LIC Stock: The company increased its shareholding in LTIMindtree from 14,804,362 to 14,906,665 equity shares, i.e., from 4.99 per cent to 5.03 per cent stake. 

DCM Shriram Industries Stock: The board may consider an interim dividend in a meeting to be held on March 28.

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Stock: The company accepted an offer from the Mumbai Port Authority’s for the allotment of land and buildings of around 14.55 acres which costs around  Rs 354 crore.

Bharat Dynamics Stock: The company gave green signal to a stock split in the ratio of 1:2 and also approved an interim dividend of Rs. 8.85 per equity share. 

Karnataka Bank Stock: The bank launched its QIP with a floor price at Rs 231.43 per share, a 0.65 per cent discount to the current market price. The QIP’s issue price will be decided by the company in its board meeting scheduled on March 27.

Texmaco Rail Stock: The company started its QIP with a floor price of Rs 162.88 per share, and a 1.88 per cent discount to the last traded price.

Godrej Agrovet Stock: PE entity Samara Capital may buy a minority stake in the company’s brand Yummiez. It is part of the company’s subsidiary, Godrej Tyson Foods.

Tata Communications Stock: The company to enter into a business transfer agreement for the hive-off of the company’s identified new edged digital services business to its wholly owned subsidiary, Novamesh Limited, as a going concern.

Amber Enterprises Stock: Brokerage firm CLSA upgraded the rating to a buy from the earlier outperform call, with the target price raised to Rs 4,300.

Bata India Stock, Metro Brands Stock: Goldman Sachs Gave rating to Bata India as a ‘neutral’ call with a target price of Rs 1,470, and for Metro Brands, the brokerage assigned a rating as a buy call with a target price of Rs 1,450.
