On 1st April, the third day in a row, 30-share BSE Sensex rose 363.20 points or 0.49 per cent to settle at 74,014.55. It had also touched 603.27 points or 0.81 per cent to hit its record intra-day high of 74,254.62.

The 50-scrip index jumped 203.1 points, or 0.9 per cent, to record an all-time peak of 22,530 during the session.

According To Experts And Zee Business, Here Are The Stocks To Be In Focus Today

  1. Auto stocks: Auto companies like Hero MotoCorp and Ashok Leyland, Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors and Eicher Motors reported their monthly sales numbers after market closure. All these companies’ stocks will be in focus today as monthly sales numbers will impact on their stocks.
  2. Telecom companies stock: Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) released subscriber data for January that will keep Reliance Industries, Vodafone Idea, and Bharti Airtel in focus today.
  3. Bharat Dynamics stock: The company registered a turnover of Rs 2,350 crore (provisional and unaudited) for the financial year ended on March 31, 2024, as compared to the previous year’s Rs 2,489.39 crore. Due to the current geopolitical situation in Europe and the Middle East, the company’s supply chain was affected which impacted on numbers.
  4. Gopal Snacks stock: The company will announce its Q3FY24 results on 2nd April 2024.
  5. IREDA stock: The company has sanctioned the highest-ever loan amount of Rs 37,354 crore in the fiscal year gone by, up 15 per cent on year. Loan disbursement was to the tune of Rs  25089 crore during FY24.
  6. Aditya Birla Fashion (ABFRL) stock: The company authorized its management to evaluate the vertical demerger of Madura Fashion and Lifestyle business from ABFRL into a separate listed entity.
  7. Voltas stock, Symphony stock, Blue Star stock, IFB and other consumer durable companies: As the IMD predicted high temperatures during April to June in most parts of India, companies which sell consumer durables like Air Conditions, Refrigerators will be in focus.
  8. Avenue Supermarts stock: CLSA raised its target on the retail stock to Rs 5514 from the earlier target of Rs 5307 as the quarterly store addition is at an all-time high. As per the brokerage, this store addition will boost the company’s mix as well as gross margins.
  9. HAL/ Bharat Electronics And Other Defence Stocks: Exports of Rs 21,083 crore reported in the FY24, with 32.5 per cent growth on year will keep defence stocks in focus. Brokerage firm Jefferies stated that export opportunity in the space should rise at 21% CAGR in FY23-30.
  10. Vodafone Idea stock: The company in its EGM scheduled for today will take shareholders’ approval to raise up to Rs 20,000 crore.
  11. CSB Bank stock: The bank announced that its gross advances rose by18 percent in the year until March 31 to Rs 24,574 crore and total deposits at the company increased by 21.3 per cent to Rs 29,719 crore.
  12. South Indian Bank stock: The company reported 11 per cent  growth in gross advances until March 31 to around Rs 80,337 crore. Also, total deposits at the company increased 11.21 per cent on year to Rs 1.02 lakh crore.
