From Alia Bhatt To Zendaya, these are some of the best looks we spotted at Met Gala 2024
Every year Met Gala produces inarguably the most fashionable looks at the carpet. While some leave us gawking, some leave us taking notes and this year was no different. Being held on the first Monday of every month, this year’s Gala was in the city of New York with the theme of “The Garden of Nights – Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion”. With the A-listers hitting the red carpet and gracing their presence at the Gala, the best dressed were those who embraced this year’s theme in full swing in quirky yet thoughtful ways.
Paying homage to the theme, florals were undoubtedly the most witnessed element at the night but many other elements broke the net, here’s listing the best looks of Met Gala 2024
Alia Bhatt
Bollywood Diva and “Student of the Year” star ruled the international fashion carpet by taking her desi routes international in a pastel-hued Sabyasachi long trail sari with 3D floral embellishments and sequin work. Alia Bhatt’s look got us chill, she looked straight out of a fairytale giving Princess Jasmine vibes. Her outfit perfectly abiding with the theme is what made her look even more flawless.
Gigi Hadid
Gigi Hadid’s outfit is quintessential, calling it anything less than exquisite would be an understatement. Looking like a blooming white flower on the red carpet, Gigi’s gown with corset top is by Thom Browne. What makes her outfit stand out is the meticulous detailing and her trail which can also be a cape.
Mona Patel
Entrepreneur and philanthropist Mona Patel made her debut at the Met Gala 2024 and she totally made it worth remembering. Styled by the most celebrated names in the fashion industry, Law Roach, Patel’s outfit was nothing less than a dream. Her stunning nude floor-grazing sculpted gown featured a butterfly-shaped corset and a huge train with an array of kinetic butterfly accents going around her arms like opera gloves, fluttering their wings in slow-mo
Zendaya
Met Gala co-host Zendaya served us two looks, rocking one after the other. Her black Givenchy gown look with train took us back in time with its vintage glamour. While the gown is by John Galliano for Givenchy, her statement-making headpiece is from Alexander McQueen’s 2007 collaboration with Philip Treacy.
Sydney Sweeney
Looking perfectly ready for the Met Gala, Sydney Sweeney in her powder blue Miu Miu gown with black flowers and coordinating latex gloves in a princess of Out of the Fairyland.
