I have pretty specific requirements when it comes to what foundations I like to use.
Usually I’ll always start with my sunscreen — I’m currently using one from IS Clinical — which can be used as a primer of sorts, before applying the lightest layer of foundation with my Holme Beauty brush.

Naked Sundays has this week released its debut SPF foundation called BeautyScreen ($54.95), which claims to provide broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection as well as a tint that can be blended in or built up for whatever day’s activities unfold.
The product, which is available on the Naked Sundays website now and will drop into MECCA in September, has quickly become a runaway success for the brand best-known for infusing SPF50+ in all of its makeup and skincare products.
There was a whopping 160,000 person waitlist on the product before launch which encouraged the Naked Sundays team to bring forward the release date by a full two weeks.
The 2.5 shade sold out in just three days and a number of well-known TikTok influencers showcased just how good the coverage is.
Jaz Hand incorporated the SPF-infused foundation into one of her latest “get ready with me” videos and received a raft of compliments.
“That Naked Sundays makeup looks amazing,” one woman wrote.
“You’ve just influenced me. I’m totally going to get some for myself,” another said.
BeautyScreen is available in 13 buildable shades so there is an option to suit just about everyone.
Each tube is infused with peptides, a super anti-ageing ingredient, polyglutamic acid for intense hydration, niacinamide and squalane for supporting the skin’s barrier health.
It’s sensitive skin friendly by being non-comedogenic and fragrance free, which is a big tick in my book.
So if you’re keen to give it a try it’s worth picking up a shade before the remaining favourites sell out.
