Dancing with the Stars’ Laura Byrne has lifted the lid on the “game-changing” skincare range she has been using for the past three months, with incredible results.
The mum-of-two, 37, shared an Instagram video where she said she has been using the “glowy amazingness that is Skinceuticals religiously” in the morning and at night for 12 weeks – and it’s her “little morning routine that is simple but has made the biggest difference”.
“My perioral dermatitis is in check, no longer is my skin as dry as a lizard’s butt and though I still have a few patches of melasma, I’ve barely been wearing makeup as the texture is perfection,” Laura said.

“I don’t have any makeup on right now, except a tiny little bit of mascara.”
When it comes to what exactly Laura uses, she said she starts with the Skinceuticals Soothing Cleanser, which is available from Adore Beauty for $70.
“This is so good if you have perioral dermatitis,” Laura said.
Perioral dermatitis is a benign eruption that occurs most commonly in young female adults, consisting of small inflammatory papules or pink, scaly patches around the mouth.
“You know how sometimes you use a face wash and it leaves your skin feeling tight and sort of squeaky clean? Well, this doesn’t do that,” Laura said.
Once she has washed her face, Laura said she “chucks on a few drops of what is called the Phloretin CF”.
This pricey little buy is also available from Adore Beauty for $236, but it will work wonders on your skin.
Laura said the Vitamin C serum is great if you have sensitive skin that is usually made angry and inflamed by vitamin C, as it will just work to reduce pigmentation without aggravating your complexion.
“The reason why it’s so good is because it helps to get rid of my melasma and anything that does that is truly a godsend,” Laura said.
She presses it onto her skin, after seeing a makeup influencer do the same, and occasionally uses a Gua Sha facial tool to enhance the effects.
Following this, Laura uses Skinceuticals’ A.G.E Interruptor Advanced ($274; Adore Beauty).
“It’s kind of like a moisturiser, but it is for the early signs of ageing,” Laura said.
Reviews online call this product “amazing” and “worth the money”.
Finally, Laura finishes with Skinceuticals’ Ultra Facial Defence Sunscreen ($59; Adore Beauty).
“Every single day, I put two finger lengths on my face,” she said.
“That’s how much sunscreen you should be putting on your face. It feels like a lot of product, but apparently we’ve all been doing it wrong.”
The Skinceuticals range is extremely popular at Adore Beauty, having been founded by Dr Sheldon Pinnell – a dermatologist, professor and skincare chemist who developed the brand in the late 90s.
One of the first chemists to champion topical antioxidant use on the skin, Skinceuticals has since gone on to add a raft of other best-selling products.
