BetMGM, Isleta Resort & Casino strike partnership for sportsbook

Nov. 3—Isleta Resort & Casino last week announced a new partnership with BetMGM to head up operations of its sportsbook — the first time the MGM brand has operated with sports betting in New Mexico.

“This is an exciting moment for both Isleta Resort & Casino and those that enjoy the fun and excitement of sports betting,” said Adrianna Jiron, Chief Operations Officer of Isleta Resort & Casino in a news release.

Adam Greenblatt, Chief Executive Officer of BetMGM, said, “It’s a privilege to enter New Mexico and collaborate with Isleta Resort & Casino. We’re confident sports fans will enjoy the world-class gameday experience that only BetMGM provides.”

The BetMGM Sportsbook at Isleta is 4,900 square feet and features 35 television screens, along with two VIP sections. The sportsbook also includes five betting windows and four betting kiosks.

There will be a kick-off party open to the public — 21 and over — on Nov. 6 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Isleta’s sportsbook is one of five active sportsbooks located in tribal casinos around the state:

—Thunder Race & Sportsbook, Buffalo Thunder, Pueblo of Pojoaque

—Sportsbook at the Inn, Inn of the Mountain Gods, Mescalero Apache Tribe

—Isleta Resort & Casino Sportsbook, Isleta Resort & Casino, Pueblo of Isleta

—The Book, Route 66 Casino, Pueblo of Laguna
